POLITICAL THOUGHTS OF HON. VERONICA ALHASSAN

BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT HON. VERONICA ALHASSAN

Hon. Veronica Alhassan was born and brought up in Bali Local Government Area, Taraba State.

She is one of the most influential politician in the Central zone and luckily the  outstanding female politician in the central zone.

Hon. Veronica Alhassan is also a political activist who believed that woman and youths must be part and beneficiaries of every political movement. She is an extraordinary thinker supporting the Architect Darius Dickson Ishaku's Rescue Mission.

Honorable Veronica Alhassan picked up her interest in politics at a very young age and Now she is far gone playing her parts in the political business.

She made her first move for a political office in 2011 - contesting for the office of the Member Representating Bali 1 constituency  in the 2011 general election.

In 2015, she was appointed as one of the advicer to the state government of Taraba State.

HER POLITICAL THOUGHTS ABOUT YOUTHS IN POLITICS

The youths, as the name implies, this has to do with the young people.

The Youths have been the people everyone is looking up to especially in politics. 

The youths are the once taking election campaigns, gesturing in good conduct and attitude to the establishment of sound environment. The "Youths" in Quote, are often referred to as the leaders of tomorrow because its believe that Obi will never remain a boy but will one day grow to be a man.

Hon Veronica Alhassan, in her long time political Journey, have never for once left the youths behind. She tried her possible best to make sure she carry the youths along. She made so many moves socially and politically to support people in one aspect of their lives to the other as a sign of her duty to serve humanity making the Youths one of her beneficiaries. Her major aims and objective towards the youth is to create in the minds of the youth an atmosphere where they can open and respond  to political callings and to Encourage Effective Political Participation among the youth.

Hon. Veronica Alhassan, in her Quest for Peace And Unity and as well as Effective Political Participation amongst  the youths, have sponsored a couple numbers of social and political events that will help bring together the youths under one umbrella.

She sponsored events in Pageantry, Sports Activities and Entertainment etc because these are one of the things that capture the interest of the youths most and using it to reach them politically is the highest wisdom.

Hon Veronica Alhassan have put so much effort in ensuring the betterment of the youths using her political position to influence job opportunities for the youths especially in the Police Force, Nigerian Army, Civil Defense Corps  and  others.

Educationally, Hon. Alhassan sees that there is a need to build a society of well educated, Responsible, Accountable and Rational scholars, she sponsored more than 50 Students who can't afford to pay for tuition into the higher institution of learning.

Hon Veronica Alhassan in so many occasion, have been preaching peace and unity among people especially among the Youths kicking against Religious Sentiment, Tribalism and Nepotism and calling for a violent free society worthy of living.

HER THOUGHTS ABOUT WOMEN IN POLITICS

Hon Veronica Alhassan has been one of the Most successful and influential female politician in Bali and in Taraba State at large.

Her immense and vast participation in politics can be used and taken as a form of motivation to other women leaving them with no other option than to venture greatly into politics too.

Hon Veronica Alhassan is of the view that Gender Equality must be put to focus especially in politics because  people believe that women have no better role to play in political offices but, should we call a lion a GOAT because of its gentle movement? No!!

The LION is still what it is despite its gentle movement. That is, Hon Veronica Alhassan is still who she is(A Woman) despite her hardworking and worksomeness in politics. She is a woman and she is  politicking to the fullest proving beyond reasonable doubt that what a man can do a woman can do it more better.

Hon Veronica Alhassan has made it clear, showing her full support to encourage the participation of women in politics.

    According to her, the meaningful participation of women in national, State, local Government and Community leadership role is very important with reasons that it will enhance gender equality in politics and can booster decision making if they are found among policy makers.

In all her political campaigns and seminars,  she never failed to raise a topic on politics featuring women urging the general public to support every woman who will stand out like she did.

 Her political aims towards women have so far been achieved because through her, several appointment both in the State and in the Local Government level has been made in which women are the beneficiaries of those appointments.

Hon Veronica Alhassan is also aiming at building a society where both Genders (Men and Women) will have interest in the political establishment and as a matter of fact support the dreams of women towards leadership in the society.

THE POSITIVE IMPACT OF HER THOUGHTS IN TARABA AND HER ROLES IN THE RESCUE MISSION.

The positive Impact of her thoughts: In a simple term, this referred to what her presence has brought, the good things she did through her political offices.

Hon Veronica Alhassan has done so much in her political journey So far.

She put smiles on the faces of her people by working for their interest.

 

She sponsored many students by paying for their school tuition for a session or two, organize an empowerment program to support the youths and the women etc.

She also aimed at creating a better image of her self in the eyes of her people that's why there is always a touch of excellent in everything she is part of. She impact greatly in the lives of the people by providing them with a means of livelihood.

Her Roles in the Architect Darius Dickson Ishaku's Rescue Mission Team is of a very great importance. 

The Rescue Mission Team Recorded one of their biggest success after a couple numbers of years in Bali LGA during  the 2019 General Election, Hon Veronica Alhassan made it happen.

Hon Veronica Alhassan in collaboration with other PDP Stakeholders  Delivered Bali to PDP in the 2019 General Election.

For the past 8 years, it has been recorded that PDP where unable to triumphantly secure an election victory in Bali suffering a massive defeat to their opposition but in 2019, Hon Veronica Alhassan and Hon Danladi Suntai's Tremendous effort gave PDP a victory over their opponent with a very big margin.

The impact of her political thoughts and advancement has in so many ways help in the Taraba State political scene. Her dreams were not far from building a society where people will have interest in the political establishment and as well as effective political Participation.

INFLUENCE OF HER POLITICAL THOUGHTS

Hon. Veronica Alhassan has influence  many things in the cost of her political journey. Her effort to embrace and bring about peace and unity amongs the youth and her prodigious interest in women's development in the society is said to be incentive.

The most motivating aspect of her political thoughts is the fact that "She is a Woman but has the ruling capabilities of a man. She is indeed a  true and a reliable leader.

Her political office were not use for personal interest but for the interest of the people in which she is representing.

She aimed at building her society, so as to katapot the interest of the people towards politics.

She have made so many moves both socially and politically and were all successful and has influence many people Impacting in them the spirit of political freewill.

Through her political thoughs,  the lack of enthusiasm in politics accumulated by the people of Bali and the Central zone has been booked and fought. Its now  astonishing the way People respond to political calling in the central zone.

Through her political thoughts, Women are now recognize in the political business and their development is fast improving.

MY VIEWS ABOUT HER POLITICAL THOUGHTS

Hon. Veronica Alhassan is the most successful and the most influential female politician in Bali LGA Taraba State and in the central zone at large.

Her political journey have impacted into many people a spirit of leadership and responsibility through accountability.

Hon Veronica Alhassan is a leader under people's heart. Her kind of leadership experienced from way back is the type every human person will ever dream of because, the interest of the people is fully represented in her leadership.

Her political thought, if viewed from the other side, is not far from the love of a mother to her children. She took everyone along practically and theoretically  and making sure that her political office influence the society especially where she came from and the people she is representating.

She dim much to see the youths and her fellow women participate in politics using herself as an example.

Hon Veronica Alhassan's political exposure and advancement is a practical example of the saying, 

"What a man can do, a woman can do better".

To me, gender Is not a barrier, it only takes determination and hard work to get there. Hon Alhassan uses every single opportunity that she got effectively and through her, there is joy in the heart of her people and smiles in the faces of the people.

Hon Veronica Alhassan has done much and its very obvious that she will do more if she is giving the opportunity because,from the little political offices she held so far, she have done much to deserve an accolade. We've seen how she use her political office to influence the happenings of many things for the benefit of her people in Bali and Taraba  state at large.
